How to Take a Mock Test

On the home page, select the APPI rating level you want to practice: Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced.

Choose the number of questions and optionally enable the countdown timer. The default settings mirror typical APPI exam conditions.

Read each question carefully and select your answer. You can navigate between questions using the navigation panel. Unanswered questions are flagged so you don't miss any.

After submitting, you'll see your score instantly along with correct answers and explanations for every question. Use this to identify areas that need more study.

How do I start a mock test?
Go to the home page, select your APPI level and preferred number of questions, then click "Start Test." No account or registration is needed.
What APPI levels are available?
We currently offer practice tests for Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced APPI rating levels. Each level draws from a separate question pool tailored to that certification stage.
Can I retake the test?
Yes, absolutely. You can retake mock tests as many times as you want. Each attempt randomizes the questions and answer order, so every session is a fresh challenge.
Is there a time limit?
The timer is optional. You can enable it before starting to simulate real exam conditions. The default time limit is 60 minutes, similar to the actual APPI exam. If the timer runs out, your test is automatically submitted.
Are the questions randomized?
Yes. Both the question order and the answer choices within each question are shuffled every time you take a test. This prevents memorizing answer positions and ensures genuine learning.
Is it completely free?
Yes, 100% free. There are no premium tiers, no hidden fees, and no limits on how many tests you can take. We believe exam preparation should be accessible to all pilots.
What subjects are covered?
Questions cover the core APPI syllabus topics including meteorology, aerodynamics and flight theory, air law and regulations, equipment knowledge, flight safety procedures, and emergency protocols. The exact mix varies by rating level.
Do I need to register or create an account?
No. You can start practicing immediately without any registration, sign-up, or login. Simply visit the home page and begin your test.

Troubleshooting

Test won't start

Make sure JavaScript is enabled in your browser. Try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, clear your browser cache or try a different browser.

Page loads slowly or questions don't appear

This is usually a network issue. Check your internet connection and try reloading the page. The test requires an active connection to load questions from our server.

Timer ran out before I finished

When the timer expires, your test is automatically submitted with whatever answers you have selected. You can retake the test immediately. Consider disabling the timer for practice sessions where you want to focus on accuracy over speed.

I think a question or answer is incorrect
